Computer Alarm Clock

By default, Computer Alarm Clock displays only an icon in the system tray when it’s running. Double click that icon and a floating clock will appear; take it and place it anywhere you want on the screen. Right click it to change to an adorable Santa Claus skin, to set up an alarm that will play the sound, audio, or video of your choice, and to access the Options menu.

You can install Computer Alarm Clock on any PC powered by Microsoft’s Windows operating system. To do so, you need only download a 784KB executable and run it.

As mentioned above, when you run Computer Alarm Clock, an icon will show up in the system tray; double click it and a clock will show up on the screen. You can change this default behavior from the Options menu; you can set it so the floating clock is not automatically hidden away when you launch Computer Alarm Clock. Speaking about default settings, Computer Alarm Clock plays videos in full screen mode, uses a standard AM/PM time not the military 24 hours format, and it plays a chime every hour, half hour, and quarter hour.

Setting up an alarm with Computer Alarm Clock is a very simple process. You need to type in the text you want the alarm box to display, the alarm’s frequency (every hour or every week, for example), the sound you want the alarm to play (select an audio or video file of your own or pick one of several alarm sounds), adjust the volume and snooze settings, and choose if you want the application to automatically perform an action for you (auto-close the alarm window, shut down the computer).
